I don't know about you, but for me I am the happiest when I bring a smile to someone else's face. It gives me a peace of mind when I see that I've really encouraged, or simply helped someone to believe that they are special and that they have the ability to do great things for their life. No matter what career I end up doing in the future I want to make it meaningful to others and myself, as I always say that when I leave this world I want my footprint to be left behind for I made a difference somewhere or touched someone's heart. Better yet I found a group of people to surround myself with who has similar beliefs. This group H.E.A.Ls as they try to help the earth and lives.
The club H.E.A.L, is a non-profitable club that has impacted so many lives and is great help in restoring the environment. This club started off as a small club at Hillel Academy by Kendall Todd and surely it grew and became recognized internationally. H.E.A.L spread to a couple of schools in Jamaica being, Wolmers boys and AISK. Presently the club is being ran by Kendall's younger sister Lauren Todd and her friend Preeti Mahtani and they are doing an honourable job.
I Just joined this school term and at the end of this term I've already done so much, from doing fund raisers to restore a basic school and also for the Danny Williams School for the Deaf breakfast program, to learning basic sign language and actually going to visit the school to bring in some Christmas cheer and spend some quality time with them. Visiting the Danny Williams school was definitely a treasurable experience for I had none like this before. The students were just so well behaved, welcoming and loving. They were full of personality and were so funny. Every single person left each other with a smile that afternoon. It just goes to show that all lives matter and as a nation we must work together and uplift each other as a community.
This christmas I encourage you to do something different and come out of your comfort zone to give of your time to someone that really needs some attention. Allow them to feel like Christmas is really a season to look forward to as this is the one time of the year that they are really thought of and could be the happiest.
FIND OUT WHAT YOUR LOVE LANGUAGE IS
My love language is first quality time and secondly receiving gifts. Telling me you love me doesn't really mean much, it is more meaningful to me when you show me, as I will always remember the little things.
